01Is MedVoyage China a healthcare provider?
+
No. MedVoyage provides non-clinical healthcare navigation and practical coordination. Diagnosis, advice, treatment and all other medical services are provided exclusively by independent licensed healthcare institutions and professionals.
02Do I need a confirmed diagnosis before contacting you?
+
No. Contact us when you need faster access to examinations or a specialist and the diagnosis is still unclear. The institution determines the appropriate clinical pathway.
03Can you help if I am already in China?
+
Yes. International residents, students, business travellers and visitors can contact us about a non-emergency healthcare need in China. We identify an appropriate type of institution and coordinate appointments, interpretation and practical navigation. MedVoyage is not an emergency service.
04What practical services can you coordinate?
+
Depending on need, we can coordinate appointments, schedules, interpretation, travel information, accommodation, local transport, suitable daily-life arrangements, family support and post-visit communication.
05Which Chinese cities do you cover?
+
Website V1 focuses on major healthcare destinations including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Chengdu, with Greater Bay Area options considered where relevant.
06How quickly will you reply?
+
A human Patient Coordinator provides the first response within 12 hours, including weekends and public holidays. This is a communication commitment, not an emergency medical service.
Institutions, plans and costs
07Do you represent or receive instructions from hospitals?
+
MedVoyage works from the patient’s stated needs and does not represent a hospital in providing medical services. Public institution information may be used without implying a partnership. Any material commercial relationship relevant to a recommendation should be disclosed.
08How do you identify relevant institutions?
+
We consider the stated healthcare need, specialty and capabilities, institutional qualifications, location, communication and practical fit. This is navigation support, not a clinical recommendation or ranking.
09Can you guarantee that a hospital will accept my case?
+
No. Each healthcare institution independently decides whether it has enough information, whether it can assist and what evaluation or treatment it may offer.
10Is the initial consultation free?
+
Yes. Your initial inquiry and MedVoyage consultation are free. If, after reviewing the coordination need, MedVoyage agrees to accept the case for paid support, we will explain the proposed service scope and coordination fee before any paid work begins.
11How are MedVoyage fees different from hospital fees?
+
Healthcare institutions independently set and charge their medical fees. MedVoyage charges separately for agreed navigation, communication and practical coordination services. A clearly described starter product may combine stated third-party and coordination components, but the healthcare institution remains responsible for all medical services.
12Do you offer a simple health screening package?
+
Yes. A Health Screening Starter is available from US$500 in Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, subject to institution, program and availability. It is designed around a standard adult screening program, local pickup and return, interpretation and up to half a day of accompaniment. Additional tests, consultations or treatment are excluded unless specifically stated.
13Can I receive a treatment plan or price before traveling?
+
An institution may sometimes provide preliminary information after reviewing records, but final assessment, treatment plans and costs may require in-person examination or further testing. Only institution-issued information should be treated as clinical or financial guidance.
14Can you guarantee a diagnosis, treatment result or recovery?
+
No. Medical outcomes are uncertain and depend on individual circumstances and clinical care. MedVoyage never guarantees a clinical result.
Privacy and urgent situations
15How is my information handled?
+
The Website V1 form prepares a message on your device and does not upload the inquiry to a MedVoyage database. We ask for only what is reasonably needed and explain before identifiable health information is shared with a specific institution. Email and messaging services carry inherent security risks, so do not send more than necessary in a first message.
16What if I need emergency care?
+
Do not use MedVoyage for emergencies. Contact local emergency services or an appropriate healthcare professional immediately. If you are in China, call 120 or seek immediate local medical care.
